Surveys & Testing from the Experts

The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 place a duty on employers before carrying out any work on asbestos to make an adequate assessment of the exposure of his employees and to prepare a written plan of work detailing the method by which the work is to be undertaken. Ethos Environmental will help employers to make an assessment as to whether asbestos is or is liable to be present. We will also help you to manage your asbestos risk which will vary with circumstances.

Additionally, taking bulk samples of building materials (e.g. textured coating, pipe insulation, ceiling tiles) for the purposes of identification is - on the face of it - an apparently straightforward undertaking but in reality there are very real risks of sample cross-contamination and/or exposure of the sampler unless proper precautions are used. Therefore you need to choose an asbestos consultant you can trust.
